Hi Ott,
I'm a big fan of yours and I've been pronouncing your name right ever since I started listening to your music. My name is something anglo and average yet people still mess it up! Sharing a name with scores of other people feels weird as you go through and meet each one. Growing up I always wished I had a name that no one else had. Guess I'm a bit envious of your name so please excuse that!

Anyways, I've spent a lot of my free time in different forrests here in the states. When I listen to your music indoors, it takes me back there. So I was wondering, what are some of your favorite places in the world, inside and outside?

Are there any places tucked away you've found that have amazing acoustics?

Thanks,
-Ryan

Being called Ott was a total fucking liability when I was 13. All my friends were called Dave and Mike and Steve. However, later in life when I needed a stupid music biz name, it came in very handy indeed.

My favourite place on earth is my home, with my wife, daughter dogs and cat. Everywhere that isn't there feels second best. In general though I like being outside in the nature. Forests, fields, clifftops, beaches, lakes, rivers and hills.

I detest all cities and their suburbs.

There is a shower room attached to my studio with the most amazing acoustics ever. I have fitted it with a speaker and two condenser microphones and i use it as a natural echo chamber, available from an aux send on my mixer.
