Hi Ott,
i definitely agree about the tea..i was born in scotland and moved to the usa when i was 5 and i drink nambarrie's tea every morning, seldom do i find any tea here in the usa that has that texture, also are you going to come to the midwest USA anytime? like chicago? if you did i would definitely go see you :) you play the music of heaven, or at least it seems to me that the music that you make must originate from some extra-dimensional realm because it definitely cant be compared with any natural occurence

I genuinely do try to channel the music of heaven but please don't tell anyone I said that. It sounds awfully pretentious.

I think I am in Chicago soon although I can't remember when and I'm WAAAAY too baked to deal with my diary right now.

Previous question

Hey Ott, You have to be in the top 3 of my favorite artists of all time.

My question is you mention further down that when you have "percussion is all sitting together really nicely so I might bounce down to two stereo stems: Percussion Hi and Percussion Lo. From then on, I treat each stem as one instrument, even though it may be six takes of six different drums"

Could you please go into detail on what you mean by bounce down to two stereo stems. Do you mean you convert them to audio and the audio has all percussion sounds in the stem?

Also by Perc Hi and Lo do you mean freq Hi and Lo?

And last one sorry :P
Can you elaborate on the six takes of six different drums? I do not fully understand what you mean by six takes and I assume six different drums you mean different kind of drums.

Thanks for even looking at these questions. I wish more artists would do this and sorry for the long question.

Next question

Let me start by saying you're incredible. I've used your music to get through a variety of difficult and interesting times in my life and I simply can't stop recommending you to people. My question is, am I on the right track of making music? I pour my self into it and only try my best but I constantly find my self doubting - well - my self. I want to get my music more out there but I'm not sure how to go about doing it I suppose. All I want to do is learn and create. I've finally found my calling but at only 9 "followers" I feel like all my creations fall on deaf ears. I just don't know how to expand.

- I just came from hyperspace and felt the overwhelming urge to message you, am I crazy?
Thank you for being amazing.

- HiaTa
