Lexicon rep here. I remember you saying at some point you may of had a 224. What other lexicon / dbx units have you used.
As far as mixing / mastering goes are there any books / tutorials you would recommend past the point of just doing it? I do see my skills increase the more I produce :) just need to touch a bit more technical side.
Any possible chance of getting a Utah date? I know you are keen to steer clear buuuut We love you here and there is quiet an underground scene here being neglected by anything thats not brostep. I know you have had beef in past but we've changed :D
I'm a huge fan of the Lexicon 224 and, to a lesser degree, the 480. The 224 sounds smoother and has more character to my ears.
I also love the DBX 160x and the 163x. Amazing on drums.
I don't know of any books or videos to recommend, but I'm a firm believer in the benefits of learning your own way rather than copying somebody else.
I'm sure you and your friends are awesome people, but my experience in SLC was enough to make me never want to return. The people who booked me were lovely but the thugs who unplugged my gear while I was playing, 60 seconds before the curfew time, and then bullied the people out into the street with barely disguised threats of violence were like nothing I have ever seen.
I just can't visit anywhere it is illegal to dance after a certain time. That makes no sense to me.
