Hello Ott, where do I begin..your music brings such happiness and emotion to my life, I don’t know where I’d be without it. With that said, it’s crazy to think about how your songs make me feel such emotion, but yet I have no idea what is being said.. I’d like to know what language most of your songs are in. And who’s voice is used in baby robot...because I need that person at my wedding? much love my friend xoxo?
I had them playing at my wedding [yes, we got married to 'The Queen Of All Everything'] but I haven't a clue what is being sung. I deliberately choose vocals sung in languages I don't understand because I want to be moved by the melody and the expressiveness of the singer, rather than the literal meaning of the lyrics which are possibly quite prosaic.
I've used vocals sung in Hindi, Punjabi, various African languages, and Baby Robot is sung in Welsh. No idea what she's on about but she definitely sounds like she means it and that's good enough for me.
If you find out what she's singing, please don't tell me.
Any tips for breakdowns? You just made me self aware of my fear of breakdowns good sir...Ott responded on 02/22/2018 Next question
Now I am reminiscing but I also halfway want to remind you about that Roflcoptr x Adrift mix, its god damm brilliant and I have yet to hear it since. I always thought It was some slowed dubby version of rofl but now being more familiar with your tunes and mixing I can almost wrap my head around what you did there to mix the two. Also, don't read the description of the video lol
