When did you start producing music? I am wondering if it's too late for me. (Please no stock 'it's never too late' answers, it's not true!)
It is true. There is no age cutoff for crating music. Raja Ram is rocking his way round the planet at 70+.
I got my first instrument [a drum kit] at 11, my first synth at 15, joined my first band at 18, became a sound engineer at 20 and released my first album at 34.
No plans to retire yet.
I want to make music like you. Do I:
a) Sign up for a sound production course somewhere
b) Tinker endlessly with Reason and Ableton
c) Smoke hash in my room and air guitar in front of the mirror
What's the best way to listen to your music? Headphones? Speakers?
What would you recommend to a newbie who is interested in becomming a musician such as yourself?
