How has being a father changed you in relation to music?
It has made me approach it more as play than as work. Seeing how my daughter approaches my instruments and the look of amazement on her face when she tweaks the filter on a synth reminds me of why I started doing it in the first place.
Recently she said, out of the blue, "When I grow up i want to be a music person like Dad."
That will probably be far more likely if you don't grow up too much, I thought.
