How would you feel about someone creating an instrumental interpretation/remake of one of your tracks? Not for monetary gain (without permission) or anything, but...you know.... just "for the LOLs".
I'd feel happy I'd inspired somebody to do something creative.
I have recorded a few cover versions of songs purely for my own entertainment over the years and I always gain a fresh perspective from deconstructing somebody else's song.
I have a version of 'Clevor Trever' by Ian Dury and the Blockheads which I started years ago and add a little to every now and then.
You'll never hear it.

You are given a tin can, a kazzoo, your own voice, a tape full of pelican mating calls, and a 4-track casette deck to make an entire record with. How do you do it, and whats the name of the album?Ott responded on 05/09/2012
