Is there a preferred order for you to apply effects? e.g. leave compression, EQ and reverb to the end?
Is there a preferred order for you to eat your dinner? E.g. leave green veg, carbohydrates and protein until the end?
Excuse the [gentle] sarcasm, but that's how your question sounds to me.
What happens is each sound asks for what it needs and I just fulfil each request as it comes in.
If you're going to chop up / glitch / add effects to a bit of audio, will you try get the sound and colour perfect first or do all the 'mixing stuff' at the end with the final result?Ott responded on 07/19/2012 Next question
Do you have a preferred order for applying effects? When I am going to add e.g. timestretch or delay to a sound I am never sure whether to sort the compression and EQ first or save till the end.Ott responded on 07/19/2012
