Using the K-14 is it ok to push over 0db on the strongest part of a track or should I stay as close to 0db as possible before bouncing and sending off to master? Thanks again

K-14 is an indication of RMS which is an average level measurement. You should aim to keep your levels around 0dB but it doesn't matter if you exceed it occasionally. As long as you keep your peak level below 0dB FS you can do what you like. K-14 is just a guide.
