Almost every day.

We've had a centrifugal juicer for years and it has served us well but this year we treated ourselves to a posh masticating juicer. The juice it makes tastes way better, it handles wheatgrass and the juice apparently keeps in the fridge longer without oxidising. Although, I say that but we've never actually got round to storing any because we drink it too quick.

Our kitchen windowsill is a sea of wheatgrass and although I find it a bit "grassy" on its own I have a big shot in a glass of carrot, apple, spinach [or kale], lemon and ginger most days. I'm not hugely keen on beetroot juice. Tastes like blood.

Last night I used the juicer to make hummus. If you feed the chick peas [garbanzos] through it before mixing with the other ingredients it pulverises them and makes your hummus a lot smoother. It's also great for making noodles.

P.s. I'm incapable of encountering a horse [or an Afghan Hound] without asking it "Why the long face?"
